Red Neck Thanksgiving

Don’t show Jen this….

As I mentioned, my Thanksgiving sucked, stuck in Hickville near Bristol, TN for 4 days with my wife’s family. She makes me go there once a year for Xmas or turkey day, freakin 8 hour drive. I was so bored I laid a new vinyl floor for them in their kitchen to pass the time. I took this pick as we drove into town…I’m not kidding, Red neck USA….I have more teeth in my mouth than the whole town. The town has 1 gas station/convience store and a little diner, no stop lights around for over 20 miles. (Dates are wrong on some of the pics below, just took them this past weekend.)

Here is a picture of their house out in the middle of no where. Dry

turkey(never saw her cook the bird so not sure where the meat came

from), instant mashed potatoes, stove top stuffing on paper plates.

Her Dad own’s his own gargage in the backyard – “Bob’s Garage”

The town had it built for him as his burnt down a few years ago.

Since he was the only one around that can fix the ambulance

and the few cop cars.

Each night I’d tell them I was going for a walk, took a self portrait.

I took quite few walks.

Well at least I know some of you had a nice Thanksgiving.
